Course Description

Produce a radiographer dedicated to delivering high quality service to patients/relatives/carers by addressing their unique needs while preserving dignity, respect, and privacy.
Highlight the evolving role of the radiographer capable of producing and performing preliminary clinical evaluations of diagnostic images across varied clinical settings.
Develop an independent reflective practitioner with the confidence to challenge norms, question underlying values, beliefs, and policies in medical imaging, and support the profession’s advancement.
Foster a radiographer committed to lifelong learning and continuous professional development to serve effectively as a key member of the dynamic, multi-disciplinary health care team.

Objectives

  • Deliver excellent, patient-focused radiography services at all times.
  • Perform initial evaluations on diagnostic images with accuracy.
  • Be a self-directed, thoughtful practitioner and support the field.
  • Dedicate to ongoing learning and career-long development efforts.

  • Explain physics concepts and imaging equipment functionality clearly.
  • Show understanding of imaging types, anatomy, and clinical judgment.
  • Carry out radiographic tasks with strong focus on safety practices.

  • Clearly communicate imaging methods and options to all patients.
  • Work effectively with varied professionals in the health care team.

Eligibility: 12th Pass with PCB or PCBZ & 10th Pass with 2 Years Diploma in relevant field
Duration: 3 years + 1 Year Internship
